Shyam Steel and Brownlee Cale collaboration in India

Shyam Steel Group established in 1953 and Brownlee Cale Mining have signed an MOU and JV agreement to work together in India across the underground mining sector combining a long established and reputable family steel business with a UK based international mining expert. Shyam Steel Group is one of the leading manufacturers of TMT bars in India operating as an Integrated Steel Plant. We are working closely together on major mining projects with the intention to grow a sustainable best in class underground mining solutions provider.

We are currently collaborating on several projects, working towards a mine design and development project leading to a full MDO where our teams are designing a best-in-class modern mine using mass production technology with a streamlined work force. Our competence development solutions enable an agile, flexible manpower structure aligned to the delivery of high-performance production methodology and processes.
