About Sid
Sid Brady is a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with over 50 years in deep mining operations. His career has encompassed major engineering leadership roles, consultancy, and technical committee work. He has contributed extensively to shaft design, winder systems, mine infrastructure, and international safety standards.
Sid has held senior roles at Cleveland Potash Ltd, Iberpotash Mine in Spain, and UK Coal, as well as advising Anglo American, Cornish Metals and other clients. He is also an active contributor to industry safety and standards groups, ensuring lessons learned in mining engineering are carried forward for future generations.
