About Matt
Matt Wilmot is a mining professional with over 20 years’ experience in operational roles and project development. A qualified Mine Surveyor, he has worked at the UK’s only operational potash/polyhalite mine and held senior technical roles on Anglo American’s Woodsmith Project.
He is experienced in mine planning, surveying, technical services management and leading multi-disciplinary teams. Matt has introduced innovative technologies such as drone surveying and InSAR monitoring and has played key roles in feasibility studies, planning approvals and construction phases for major international projects.
