Mark Spencer

Mark Spencer brings over 44 years of mining and safety experience, spanning coal mining operations, mines rescue, training, and compliance management. Starting his career underground at Clipstone Colliery, he progressed to Mine Supervisor before moving into health and safety training and assessment.

With more than two decades at Mines Rescue (MRS), Mark became a qualified trainer, assessor, and internal quality assurer (IQA), delivering courses across high-risk industries including nuclear, aggregates, defence, and utilities. He has also held leadership roles as Compliance and Asset Manager with Triton Risk Management, developing safety systems and ensuring regulatory integrity.
